Jessica Bruno, somatic and IFS therapist in New York and North Carolina

HELLO

I’m Jessica.

I believe that true healing happens when we return to relationship with all parts of ourselves- the body’s wisdom, the nervous system’s signals, the emotions we’ve learned to quiet and the deeper Self that has been whispering beneath it all.

My own journey showed me how incomplete traditional talk therapy can feel when it overlooks intuition, embodiment, and the subtle energetic layers that shape how we move through the world. I spent years navigating life from my mind- analyzing, performing, trying to be enough. Yet something essential was missing. As I turned inward, I discovered that transformation requires softness and depth. It asks us to slow down, listen differently, and include the body as part of the story.

That path led me into body-centered healing, somatic work, and ultimately Internal Family Systems (IFS)—a framework that honors the complexity, beauty, and intelligence of our inner world.

Today, my work weaves together IFS, somatic awareness, intuitive presence, and when it feels aligned, Human Design as a gentle, symbolic map for clients who feel called to explore their energetic blueprint. I don’t use it as a protocol, but as an optional doorway into deeper self-understanding—especially for those who’ve always felt sensitive, intuitive, or energetically attuned.I see healing as sacred and cyclical. It’s not about fixing or becoming someone new—it’s about remembering who you’ve always been beneath the conditioning, survival strategies, and inherited stories.

Much of my work centers around supporting energetically sensitive women—deep feelers, creatives, visionaries, intuitives—who are moving through transitions, inner shifts, or the quiet sense that life is asking more of them. Whether you’re reconnecting with your intuition, navigating a change in identity, or sensing an emerging purpose, I hold space for the parts of you that are scared, hopeful, protective, or ready to grow.

MY SERVICES

MY PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS

I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from New York University, and I’m licensed to practice in both North Carolina and New York State. My post-graduate training includes advanced coursework in Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and polyvagal theory, along with certification as an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Practitioner.

These modalities are not protocols. I use them as a fluid, responsive language for helping people reconnect with their own internal guidance and capacity to heal.

Above all, my work is grounded in presence, authenticity, and ongoing personal integration. I don’t just offer tools, I embody this work myself. Together, we’ll co-create a space where your nervous system can soften, your parts can feel seen, and your own wisdom can emerge.

If you’re ready to explore a soulful, body-centered, intuitive path, I’m ready to walk alongside you.
